This cocktail tastes vaguely like a grown-up cherry coke. But, the kind where you wonder if the coke is Mexican and if the sun is shining a little bit brighter since you started drinking it.
This is a Damon Dhanen’s recipe, so, you know there’s going to be some interesting ingredients in it. Don’t let the Tang throw you off. Just let it drift you back to childhood on a cloud of nostalgia. You’ll be glad you did because this cocktail is a keeper, friends. Cheers!
Bleeding Love
Serves 1
1.5oz Ramazzotti
.75oz tequila
.5oz Orasella cherry syrup
.5oz lime
.5oz Tang orange drink mix (available at Safeway in the Seattle area)
1 dash angostura bitters
Build in an ice filled Colins glass. Top with club soda. Stir. Garnish with a dried lime wheel and an Orasella cherry.
