Welcome to a recipe perfect for new year’s celebrations. It’s delicious. incredibly fruity, but, at the same time complex thanks to the combination of three types of spirits: tequila, grand marnier and, the Spanish dry sparkling wine, cava. Orasella's Sparkling Wine New Year's Punch
Serves 12
18 oz Blanco Tequila
6 oz Grand Marnier
8 oz Salted Cava Syrup*
6 oz Lime Juice
6 oz Grapefruit Juice
3 oz Orasella cherry syrup (what’s left in the jar after you finish your Orasella Maraschino Cherries)
Pour all ingredients into a punch bowl and stir to combine. Garnish with sliced citrus and Orasella cherries.
*Salted Cava Syrup
1/2 bottle (375ml) cava or other dry sparkling wine
1 cups granulated sugar (super fine is preferred if possible)
1 1/2 tsp salt
In a large non-reactive container combine cava, sugar and salt. Cover tightly with a lid or plastic wrap. Stir intermittently and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight until well dissolved.
